Maya Rand is an associate in ZEK’s transactional banking, corporate and real estate group. She is a former professional musician and comes to ZEK with extensive experience in the entertainment industry, having worked in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Before coming to ZEK, Maya’s practice focused on Copyright and Trademark Law. Maya has a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, with a concentration in Intellectual Property. She previously earned a B.M. from McGill University and an M.M. from Mannes College of Music at The New School both in piano performance. In her free time, Maya enjoys hiking and rock climbing, as well as attending concerts, and playing music with her friends.
