Monday, February 23, 2015 — Attorneys Griver and Garrie Co-Host 1-hour Webinar with Thomson Reuters on Electronic Evidence

On Monday, February 23, 2015, ZEK attorneys Yoav M. Griver and Daniel B. Garrie will be discussing the implications of smart phones, email, and social network platform evidence in 21st Century litigation. Smartphones, tablets, netbooks, and laptops are becoming more accessible than ever before, and, as a result, electronic evidence and discovery have become inextricably tied to all forms of present day litigation. Cell phone data, social media postings, GPS information, text messages, blogs, websites, email, and computer files are only a sampling of the types of evidence today’s trial lawyer must become familiar with, so he or she may properly understand and then introduce both native and digital forensic evidence into the record. This panel will cover a survey of electronic evidence, case law, review various types of electronic evidence, and practice tips on dealing with smartphone evidence and data items.

Mr. Griver and Mr. Garrie’s extensive knowledge in both the legal and cyber security fields will allow them to discuss critical matters in the admissibility of email and internet evidence. The webinar will take place Monday, February 23rd at 1 p.m. EST.
