ZEK’s Garrie and Morrissy Publish Article in Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property

ZEK’s Daniel Garrie and J. David Morrissy are c0-authors of “Digital Forensic Evidence in the Courtroom: Understanding Content and Quality”, an article published in the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property (Volume 12, Issue 2). In their article, Garrie and Morrissy provide the reader with a brief history of the field of digital forensics, and then proffer a cohesive framework for analyzing a forensic report proffered by a digital forensic expert. This framework can be used for testing a forensic report, whether submitted by your adversary or to be submitted by you, against the expert evaluation standards enunciated by the Supreme Court in Daubert and Kumho Tire.
